MAJORCA GOLF HOLIDAY 2005
March 20th to 26th saw our annual golf trip to the island of Majorca with 7 keen golfers and 1 keen
goafer ready to get to grips with 5 of the islands finest courses.The players:- Norman Brown, Daryn Cummings, Craig Duncan, Frank Gregorace, Chris & Steve Lach, John Pritchard & Chris Warren.
Day 1 - BENDINAT - Course in pretty good nick but the greens were very disappointing.
Scores:- Daryn (where's my goaf bo) 33 pts, Chris L. & Frank 29pts, Craig 28pts, Norman 25pts,
Steve 24pts (playing with hired clubs - Easyjet put his on a plane to France) John & Whizzo Warren
bringing up the rear with 23pts each.Day 2 - ANDRAATX - Course as ever in great condition but again the greens are not as they should be.
Scores:- Chris 31pts, Frank 29pts, Whizz 24, Daryn, Norman & Steve 23 each, John 21 & Craig 19After 2 rounds
Day 3 - am PULA (Venue for the PGA Majorca Open) What a pile of shite. Course generally in crap
condition. To much work being done with absolutely no disscounts offered. Greens actually not to bad.
Scores:- Whizz 31pts, Craig 21pts, Steve 27pts, Daryn 26pts, Chris 25pts, Norman 25pts, Frank 24pts,
John 20pts
pm:- CANYAMEL - best course so far, probably the best greens of all the courses on the island.
Scores:- Norman 28pts, Steve 28pts, Craig 26pts, Whizz 26pts, John 25pts, Frank 24pts, Daryn 24pts, Chris23pts.
Day 4 - SON VIDA - Course superb, all round probably the best course on Majorica.
Scores:- Steve 33pts, Craig 32pts, Whizz 29pts, Norman 28pts, John 27pts, Chris 22pts, Daryn 20pts, Frank14pts.FINAL SCORES
